2024 KITTY ANGELS FUNDRAISER
Plans are coming together for another fantabulous fundraiser for Kitty Angels, Inc. This year’s event is slated for May 4 & 5, a tradition that has taken place every year since 1995 and will run from 9AM-5PM both days. The kitties and vendors are eager to have you get out of the house and visit with them for some tremendous finds, great “free” musical entertainment and most important of all, to help Kitty Angels, Inc.! The weekend festivities are being held at Treasures Antiques, 106 Ponemah Road (Rt. 122) in Amherst. Look for all your favorite vendors, including Food Vendor “B’s Grumman Grub,” Artist Lori-Ellen Budenas of Respect the Wood, Dusty Finds, Cam’s Shop with fresh lemonade, Monica Gesualdo of Trading Faces, as well as Central Birch Art Studio featuring a ‘paint and take’ activity for kids and adults alike. Terrariums by Stephanie, Creations by Laurianne, Pinky’s Freeze Dried Candy, Threaded Treasures, Hearts Design Jewelry, Forever Clean Soaps, Gabe’s Creations, Scroll N’ Tole, Luv Belly Rubs, Dubz Dyes, Katz Woodworking, Nana’s Odds & Ends, Morel Woodworking, SoGo Metal Art, Happy Cat Creations, Vinyl Revival, Midnight Kitty Creations, Willey’s Whirleys, Dollar Shy Farm, Color Street, Crystal X Clear Collection, LuLaRoe, Custom Care Designs, 2 Good 2 be Baked, Blueberry Cove Creations, The Dot Lady, To Bead or Not To Bead, Magic Circle Arts, Turnin & Burnin, Happy Cat Creations, Tupperware, Eclectic Touches, Just A Bunch Of Knots and the Amherst Animal Hospital. The list continues to grow!
The bands and soloists for the event, consist of Joey Peavey, Side Effects, Jeff Damon, “9 Strings” with Dick Spencer and Dan Rodd, Roosta Gulla, Jeff Robert and Sunset Rhythm.
Featured throughout the fundraising weekend and into the month of June, is a thrilling and interesting raffle of numerous and diverse prizes, all generously donated by local and national businesses, professional sports teams, private individuals and some of the awesome on-site vendors. There will also be a special “Beanie Baby Adoption” table where you can adopt a new ‘low maintenance’ friend, all to benefit Kitty Angels, Inc.
Kitty Angels, Inc. is the sole beneficiary of this event. They are a no-kill cat shelter and are made up of all unpaid volunteers, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats and kittens, furnishing them with treatment for injuries or other health issues and then placing them into new forever homes with compatible owners. They are a non-profit, 501(C) 3 charitable corporation where all donations are fully tax-deductible and every penny of every donation is used in the caring of cats.
